Semifinals India defeated England By a 3-0 margin.
In the 1st Match
of Mixed Doubles the Indian Pair of Jwala Gutta and V.Diju
defeated Nathan Robertson and Jenny Wallwork 21-17, 21-17 in
straight sets.
In the Second
Match of Mens Singles P. Kashyap of India won a crucial match
for India by defeating World number 16 Rajiv Ouseph of England
by a 21-13, 21-17 margin.
In the 3rd Match
of Women Singles Saina Nehwal beat Anna Rice 21-16, 21-13 in 30
minutes to win the tie for India
India now take on
Malaysia in the finals who defeated Singapore by a 2-1 margin..
